Your private coach will collect the group from Santiago Airport and take you to Lugo, a historic city encircled by the world’s finest surviving Roman walls. After settling into your centrally located hotel, explore the atmospheric old quarter or walk along the UNESCO-listed walls for views across the city.

Depending on your arrival time, a welcome Mass can be arranged before the group gathers for its first dinner and prepares to begin the Camino.

After breakfast, travel by private coach to Morgade, near the Camino’s 100 km marker, where your pilgrimage begins. Follow peaceful country lanes and woodland paths through rolling farmland and traditional villages before descending toward the Belesar Reservoir.

Cross the bridge into Portomarín, whose historic center was moved stone by stone before the original town was flooded. After time for Mass or to explore, return by coach to Lugo for dinner and a second night.

Return by coach to Portomarín and cross the reservoir to begin a steady ascent through woodland, farmland and quiet rural communities. Near Castromaior, the remains of an ancient fortified settlement reveal more than 2,000 years of history beside the Camino.

Continue through Gonzar, Ventas de Narón and Ligonde toward Lestedo. At the end of the stage, your coach will take the group to a peaceful country property, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the next two nights.

Return to Lestedo and continue through the green landscapes of inland Galicia. Old stone paths, medieval bridges, Romanesque churches and traditional villages accompany the route as it passes through Palas de Rei and crosses into the province of A Coruña.

Walk through peaceful woodland before crossing the medieval bridge at Furelos and reaching Melide, where the French Way meets the Camino Primitivo. After Mass or time to explore, return by coach to your country accommodation.

Return to Melide and follow shaded paths, stone lanes and small bridges through the Galician countryside. Pass the Romanesque church of Santa María de Melide and continue through Boente and Ribadiso, where an old pilgrim hospital stands beside the River Iso.

The route leads through Arzúa, known for its mild cow’s-milk cheese, before continuing to A Calzada. Your coach will meet the group and take you to the next base near Silleda for dinner and a two-night stay.

Return to A Calzada and continue through Salceda and Santa Irene, passing woodland, chapels and small rural villages as Santiago draws closer. The private coach remains available at scheduled points, allowing members of the group to shorten the stage if needed.

Walk beyond O Pedrouzo through peaceful forest paths to Lavacolla, where medieval pilgrims traditionally washed before entering Santiago. Return to your hotel for dinner, reflection and a final evening together before reaching the Cathedral.

This is it! Only 11 km separate you from the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. From Lavacolla, climb toward Monte do Gozo for your first view of the city before continuing together through the historic streets of Santiago.

Enter Praza do Obradoiro, where the Cathedral rises before you, and take time to celebrate everything your parish community has shared along the Way. Afterwards, collect your Compostela, attend Mass and settle into your centrally located hotel before a final dinner together.

Your parish pilgrimage ends after breakfast. Depending on your departure time, enjoy a final walk through Santiago’s historic center or spend a little more time at the Cathedral before your private coach takes the group to Santiago Airport.

Additional nights, a guided visit or an extension to Finisterre, Fátima or another pilgrimage destination can be arranged on request. The walking may be over, but the faith, fellowship and memories shared along the Camino will remain with your community long after returning home.
